Introduction
The Meraj Learning Academy homeschooling and tutoring division is in operation since 2009.
These are some of the services that we offer:
Our homeschooling division runs in conjunction with Impaq Home Education and The Guardian Institute Islamic CAPS curriculum.
We tutor kids from several private and public schools in the area, from the age of 4 up to grade 12.
A full maktab / madrassah syllabus is being used with small classes and therefore individual attention. Children are afforded the opportunity to move at their own pace.
Primary Islamic education is of utmost importance to the imaan of a child. Parents have an obligation to ensure the Islamic education of their children.
The madrassah is run by a qualified, experienced aalim.
Archery lessons are offered to individuals, families, schools and tuition centres.
Learners are introduced to computers and concepts such as:
- Introduction to computers,
- hardware,
- software,
- file & folder management,
- basic word processing,
- basic spreadsheet usage…
Students enter the exciting world of coding and enhance that skill by implementing coding with robotics.
These skills also foster problem solving, spatial relationships, prediction and communication skills.
They are equipped with the knowledge and tools to not only survive, but thrive in the 4th industrial revolution.
Swimming lessons offered as an extra-curricular activity for learners.
